perfect abs: the breakdown

perfect abs is about having a sexy, slim, toned body. Getting perfect abs is a combination of losing fat and building muscle, losing fat being the more critical part.

  • adopt a 90% primal diet [so my body will be burning fat and not muscle]
  • manage my calories for an intake between 1500 and 1600 Cal
  • do an hour of cardio 3 or more times a week to burn fat
  • strength train 3 times a week to build and maintain muscle
  • practice yoga twice a week to maintain a balance between strength and flexibility

Taking Myself Seriously in 2011

Hello 2011!! A new year brings a fresh start, optimism, and an opportunity for construction.

I'm definitely not thrilled with where I am in life now so I'm looking forward to the new year and a chance to be a better me. I'm going to get to a happy point and I'm going to do it not by faking happiness with where I am like I've been doing, but by taking myself seriously and pursuing the things that would make me happy.

My "New Year's Resolutions" fall into these five categories:
  • more of this: a quest for femininity and beauty
  • perfect abs: health and strength; being skinny strong, not skinny fat
  • brilliance: becoming a better student; improving my skills all around
  • in focus: doing adult things like organizing, prioritizing, and analyzing myself, my goals, and my situation
  • money to blow: getting rid of debt and saving for the future
